David Osman is an international speaker that has worked with hundreds of community based organization, faith-based, corporations and government agenciesasit relates to community mobilization around a variety of topics such as domestic/community violence, bullying, health care/educational disparities, and foster care. In 2009 he was selected chairman for the first International H1N1 Conference in Washington, D.C where he introduced some of the world’s renowned scientists and national experts to address this global threat. The conference hosted 40 countries with 500 participating delegates. Today he continues to chair a multitude of regional initiatives which address a variety of topics surrounding health care and various other social/community concerns. He is responsible for creating several nationally recognized Nevada programs: The Neighbor To Neighbor Coalition Project, UMC Trauma Violence Intervention Program, Nevada Youth Alliance Outreach Worker Program just to name a few.
Since founding the non-profit organization Nevada Youth Alliance in 1996 he has developed and facilitated over 500 special events reaching nearly 1.5 million community members throughout Nevada and around the U.S. In addition, he works closely with various community partners across Nevada to address chronic diseases, healthcare literacy, access to health care/insurance and health prevention messaging. His portfolio encompasses fund developing whereas he has secured millions in private foundation donations and federal grant funds that support health & wellness, community safety programs state-wide. David’s, work with a myriad of government agencies at the federal and local levels has prompted the winning of countless proclamations, letters of commendation, as well as awarded corporate honors, community based organizations, and media award recognition.
He is presently the Senior Community Relations Representative for Amerigroup Community Care.
